I’ve been so busy writing posts lately that I failed to post. Great job, self. That’s actually true, though–it’s not that I’ve got nothing to say, but rather that I’m in the middle of writing a bunch of ridiculously lengthy and involved posts about things like universal health care (for it), book piracy (for it, [...] First, how is it that I’ve suddenly not posted anything in days and days? I feel like we’ve been both very busy and very tired lately, and apparently I’m right on both counts, since in my head, I’ve posted at least one entry that doesn’t actually exist. Today on my lunch break, I went to the mall. First, the mystery berries have been identified! The brilliant crowd over at MetaFilter IDed them as mock strawberries. Nick and I tested that theory tonight by tasting them, and it seems that once again, the internets were right–pretty like wild berries, but no flavor whatsoever. I have to admit that I’m rather disappointed that they’re [...] The internet, it seems, is in love with magic berries. As it turns out, so am I. My idea of magic berries doesn’t quite mesh with the internet’s berries of magical sweetness. I’m sick, so bullet points, some of which will be expanded upon at a later date. We saw Pixar’s Up on Monday, and it’s prompted me to get going on my long-threatened series of posts on why I don’t like Disney. So far, it’s looking like it’s going to be about seven posts, probably spread out [...] Well, Internet, today I finally put my garden in.
