There were a few kids there we sort of knew--we've played with them at McDonalds before--and they were three and four. They picked it up faster and easier than Maura did, in my opinion. Apparently, the trick is to tell kids to march--picking up their feet one at a time--and then glide. You should give it a try, especially if it's a free rink--what's there to lose, really, other than an hour or two and a bit of dignity? I bet he’s old enough!
