Lovingly cradled in my shirt, because I am unorganized and didn’t have a basket or anything, and it was going starting to rain, so I didn’t want to go back inside to find one. We saw Pixar’s Up on Monday, and it’s prompted me to get going on my long-threatened series of posts on why I don’t like Disney. So far, it’s looking like it’s going to be about seven posts, probably spread [...] Well, Internet, today I finally put my garden in. Apologies in advance for the weird photos–there was way too much light, and I compensated poorly. A week or two back, I’d laid the groundwork for the garden, still believing that many, if not most, of my seedlings would be dead by the time that I [...] Well, I’d planned to put my plants in the ground today, but instead we got a frost advisory. Given that I’m incredibly proud of the fact that these plants have been growing for a month and very few of them have died, it seemed advisable to wait until next weekend, when things will hopefully be [...] So far, the plant mortality rate around here is zero, which is pretty damn impressive. Our yard is also covered with the flowers you see in the picture above. I think that they’re forget-me-nots, though I’d always thought that forget-me-nots were blue.
